The Key to Everything You Ever Wanted

Standard

It really matters what you do and what you think; how and why?

Some pretty dynamic and successful people have come together to enlighten us; Jack Canfield, Michael Beckwith, James Arthur Ray, Neal Donald Walsh and Dennis Waitley tells us what Plato, Newton, BeethovenShakespeare  Einstein,  Andrew Carnegie and countless other people through history knew and how anyone can apply exactly the same principles to achieve everything they ever wanted.

Great filming, animated and interesting commentary and definitely food for thought.

Do you have any experience with this?

The Original Secret?

Standard

We are constantly told we shape our own destiny; we are what we think. But what if our destiny seems more like a nightmare than the perfect dream? Where are we going wrong and how can we make it right?

The key may be at least in part in Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich. Available free from the link below.

The Value You put on Yourself is the Pay You Receive

Standard

What do you really think your are worth?

Are you lovable, do you feel you are worth loving? Do you respect yourself, are you worth the respect of others? Are you kind, do you deserve the kindness of others?

“I bargained with Life for a penny, And life would pay no more, However I begged at evening When I counted my scanty store.

For Life is just a employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why you must bear the task.

I worked for menial’s hire, Only to learn, dismayed That any wage I asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid.”

Jessie B Rittenhouse

I agree meditation can give you a more positive outlook on life, but so can this simple exercise: Get yourself a little book, or big if you prefer 🙂 and a pen. Every evening list at least three things that happened that day that made you feel good. It could be something you saw, something you or someone else did, something you heard, something you read, or felt or smelt…… three things minimum written in your book every evening for the next 7 days. I promise you as the days go on you notice more and more positive things about your life.

Let me know how you go…

I was invited to contribute to the anthology The “I” Word before Christmas 2012. The anthology is now available to buy both on Kindle and in Bookform – I earn no royalties and still own my words 🙂 here they are:

“Writing is thinking. It is more than living, for it is being conscious of living.” Anne Morrow Lindberg

Words; putting life on a page, spelling out the name, the phrase. Placing the full stops and commas in the right places. ‘Pity.’ she said – I became upset, tongue tied, I even smiled.

But it stung I felt….. I had to write it down, lay it out on a clean page, piece by piece, examine our words and actions, replay, hold it up against the light….

I sat down with my pen: ‘Belittled.’ ‘Dismissed.’ ‘Like a little child.’ – Then….No! She is not to blame. She doesn’t realize that beyond my fragile look, there is pride and dignity. Pity…
